Job Responsibilities
As an Assistant Math Learning Center Director, you will play a vital role in supporting the Center Director in achieving our mission. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the administration of student assessments and the development of personalized learning plans
- Assisting with sales responsibilities, including responding to leads and enrolling new students
- Providing exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with families and communicating student progress
- Leading and coaching team members to deliver high-quality, individualized instruction in a group setting
- Managing student learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Mentoring and supporting employee development through on-the-job training and feedback
- Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method
- Becoming proficient in digital educational materials and processes
- Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A passion for math and working with students of all ages and skill levels
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Eagerness to learn and be trained in our proprietary methods and materials
- Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
