Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Agent, you will play a critical role in promoting and selling air travel, assisting with passenger check-in and cargo acceptance, interpreting government rules and requirements for domestic and international travel, and meeting and dispatching aircraft within established times. Your duties will include:

• Promoting and selling air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders.
• Providing assistance with passenger check-in and cargo acceptance.

• Providing assistance to distressed passengers and customers.
• Protecting company property and revenue.

• Being self-motivated and requiring minimal supervision.
• Responding and assisting during security and emergency situations.

Essential Qualifications for Success

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations.
• An applicable valid driver’s license as required by local authorities.
• To fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
• To be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
• Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirements.
• To be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications for Enhanced Success

While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your success in this role:

• Working knowledge of Sabre or any other Passenger Service System.
• Previous face-to-face customer service experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
