Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process.
- Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage the check-in process, verifying that customers have the necessary documentation for travel.
- Tag baggage and perform various lifting tasks, including transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts, and handling items at floor level and waist level.
- Adhere to safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures, prioritizing a safe working environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or university education preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customers.
- Proficient in using computer systems for ticketing and baggage handling.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks that involve bending, standing, and walking.
