Job Overview
As a Customer Service and Remote Virtual Assistant for the US healthcare industry, you will play a vital role in preparing and assembling medical record documentation, ensuring compliance with hospital and medical facility policies, and providing exceptional support to our healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation, adhering to HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations.
- Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's record, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Prepare and send all documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures.
- Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with healthcare providers.
- Comply with hospital and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission, to maintain the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
- Perform other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders.
