Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and action-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Shopbop. As a key member of our customer care center, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through phone, email, and online chat. Responsibilities
- Presale Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries regarding fit, fashion trends/styles, product availability, and specials through phone, email, and online chat. Guide customers through the ordering procedure online.
- Post-order Inquiries: Address and resolve post-order inquiries regarding delivery, billing, and shipping.
- Software Tools: Utilize a range of software tools to address client inquiries and provide efficient solutions.
- International Concerns: Assist customers with both domestic and international concerns by working with outside shipping contractors.
Requirements
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High school graduation or its equivalent.
- Experience: Two or more years of experience in the retail, service, or customer service industries.
- Math Skills: Proficient in basic math with the ability to compute refunds before and after discounts, and apply specified percentages, tiered promotional codes, and partial discounts to orders.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, including the capacity to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and speech as well as to listen to and interpret customer needs.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities.
- Schedule Flexibility: Flexibility with a full-time schedule, including shift assignments on weekends and evenings.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
- High-Volume Environment: Experience working under pressure in a high-volume environment while upholding standards for productivity, quality, and service.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Language Skills: Fluency in one of the following languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, or Russian.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Base Pay: $19.00 per hour, with a range of $31,200/year to $53,600/year based on geographic location.
- Equity: Eligible for equity as part of a total compensation package.
