About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Richmond, Virginia location. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the eyes and ears for our team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond. You will work in a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from all walks of life, and no two days will be the same. Key Responsibilities
- Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
- Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues
- Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate
- Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments
- Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
- Provide feedback on call issues
- Upsell if required
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- IT/Network certifications/degrees preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
- Proven call center experience
- Entry-level network troubleshooting skills, including the ability to set up home Wi-Fi Network, set up and configure router or switch, and core proficiency with a laptop or desktop computer
- Comfortable with desktop computer systems and have general knowledge of Windows-based systems
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred
