Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a remote worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a telecommunications company in its joint pole inventory management process. This entry-level position will involve managing pole data between the telecommunications company, 3rd party attachers, and power companies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry and management. Key Responsibilities
- Manage pole data between telecommunications companies, 3rd party attachers, and power companies
- Enter data accurately and quickly into databases, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
- Escalate issues to the client/engineer when discrepancies in data are identified, providing effective solutions and support
- Assist team leadership in tracking data pertinent to the process, providing administrative support and ensuring seamless operations
- Utilize databases and search for information within them, demonstrating proficiency in data management and analysis
- Provide exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal, to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Computer experience with Microsoft Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Outlook, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Personal time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- The ability to use databases and search for information within them, demonstrating proficiency in data management and analysis
- The ability to input data accurately and quickly, with attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
- Experience or familiarity with NJUNS, ALDEN ONE, SPANS is preferred, but not necessary, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
