The Distribution Customer Service Representative is responsible for carrying out all customer service activities, including responding to inquiries, processing orders and receipts, and handling complaints in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner. - Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of the accounts, and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including damage records, backorder logs, and procedure manuals.
- Perform other clerical duties as directed by the Customer Service Supervisor or Office Manager, including answering and routing telephone calls, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications, and familiarity with shipping software systems, such as UPS and Federal Express.
- Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key.
