About the Opportunity
As a Preply English tutor, you'll have the freedom to teach English online to students from all over the world, on your own schedule and at your own price. You'll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, using Preply's integrated calendar to schedule lessons, and providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet your students' needs. Key Responsibilities
- Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price
- Create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with your students
- Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
- Access training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars
- Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet your students' needs
- Track your students' progress and adjust your teaching methods accordingly
- Engage with students, respond to their queries, and provide feedback
Essential Qualifications
To become a Preply English tutor, you'll need:
- Proficiency in English
- A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
- Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
- A high-speed internet connection
- To be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful
