Job Overview

In this critical role, you will service and maintain multiple bulk accounts by merchandising approved products and packages using safe handling techniques and following all quality guidelines. Your schedule will consist of 5 consecutive days a week, including weekends, with shifts starting at 5am and continuing until the completion of the route. You will be based in Portsmouth, OH, and surrounding areas, with potential interviews conducted at our branch in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs
• Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display, ensuring a visually appealing presentation
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelf where permitted, and rotates product to maintain a fresh and engaging display
• Fills and merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors, checking vendor to ensure proper operation and addressing any issues promptly
• Organizes and maintains the back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out of date product to the branch
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions

Essential Qualifications

• Effective communication skills, which include listening, speaking, and writing, to ensure seamless interactions with store personnel and internal stakeholders
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service and building strong relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively to satisfy the needs of a variety of customers with different demands and expectations
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, lifting 50 lbs. repetitively, and maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the day
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision, using critical thinking skills to address challenges and make informed decisions
• Valid in-state driver's license, excellent driving history, and proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage
