Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our Blithequark Sales team. As a client-facing member of our team, you'll manage a portfolio of 30-45 key accounts across various verticals, including but not limited to: Beverage and Liquor, Auto, Finance, and Insurance. Your creativity, organizational skills, and enterprising attitude will be essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with clients to develop new business opportunities
- Create sales presentations that showcase Blithequark's unique value proposition
- Independently manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals
- Uncover new sales opportunities through networking and convert them into long-term partnerships
- Develop strategies for fully integrated digital marketing campaigns
- Aggregate and analyze data to identify trends and extrapolate business strategies based on available insights
- Update clients on new Blithequark events, activations, and sponsorship opportunities
- Collaborate with various teams to maximize ROI for Blithequark-sponsored and co-branded events
- Ensure clients receive the highest level of sales and operational client care
- Manage multiple project schedules and resources to deliver successful campaigns
- Utilize autonomous judgment to assess client needs, optimize sales, and adjust client portfolios on a case-by-case basis
- Stay immersed in the evolving social media and influencer landscape
- Understand business operations and the needs driving C-Suite decisions
- Perform various duties as required
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Innovative, fresh thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience in social media or digital advertising
- Experience working with influencer marketing programs (a plus)
- Knowledge of automated media buying (a plus)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize obligations
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Slack
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Past work experience for a talent agency, social media company, or similar talent management experience
- Entertainment/Startup experience (a plus)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to speak or hear to give and receive information and directions
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to work on a computer keyboard for up to 80% of the day
- Visual acuity, ability to shift focus, and peripheral vision for work on a computer or other computer equipment
- Travel up to 50%
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
