As a Lobby Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a team that's passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. **Job Summary** We're seeking experienced Lobby Customer Service Representatives to join our Family and Adult Assistance Division at our Welcome Center and Neighborhood Resource Sites. As a Lobby Customer Service Representative, you'll provide professional and respectful customer service to internal and external customers, gain general knowledge to respond to customer questions, complete accurate data entry of new applications, issue electronic benefit cards (EBT), and perform other related duties. **Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and respectful manner * Gain general knowledge to provide accurate responses to customer questions at the lobby window * Complete accurate data entry of new applications for food, cash, and medical benefits * Issue electronic benefit cards (EBT) or perform EBT destruction as assigned * Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives * Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion * Perform other related duties as assigned **Requirements** * Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET, or TASC Certificate * Three (3) years of full-performance office support/clerical work (type and level of an Administrative Support Assistant III) * Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) * Bilingual skills and ability to read, write, and speak proficiently * Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to quick turnaround times, and executing accurate follow-up and follow-through * Passion for working in community and a strong desire to work with vulnerable, at-risk populations **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a customer service or administrative support role * Familiarity with public assistance programs and services * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers * Experience working with diverse populations and cultures **What We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with education and experience * Target hiring range: $22.01-$26.84 * Generous benefits package, including: + Guaranteed life-long monthly pension, once vested after 5 years of service + 457B Retirement Plan + 140 hours of PTO earned within the first year + 11 paid holidays, 1 personal holiday, and 1 volunteer day per year + Competitive medical, dental, and vision plans effective within 1 month of start date * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Work Environment** * Work on site, 5 days per week, at one of our primary locations: + Denver Human Services Welcome Center (2929 W. 10th Ave, Denver, CO, 80204) + Rocky Mt.
