We are now looking for a seasoned Program Manager to join our Creative Production Innovation Management team, driving complex projects across blithequark and Product Discovery & Promoting (PDP) groups.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex, innovation-focused programs that are technical and cross-functional in nature. As a Program Manager at blithequark, you will be responsible for shaping and executing innovation packages that introduce new stories to our contributors worldwide. You will act as a thought partner to key stakeholders, excel in driving early-stage projects from strategy through execution, and deliver solutions in a successful and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex programs that are innovation-focused, technical, and cross-functional in nature.
- Conduct feasibility and stage-of-effort tests of conceptual features and designs to deliver high-quality functions on time and within budget.
- Act as a thought partner to PDP leaders to shape early-level product innovation possibilities into concrete applications.
- Partner with blithequark Product Managers on projects within their innovation roadmaps and advocate for PDP's groups through proactive consulting and advising throughout the innovation lifecycle on product functions, assessments, and designs.
- Work closely with Product Control, Engineering, and Creative teams to align on project plans, priorities, execution, and shipping of highly technical tasks.
- Identify extensive trends and opportunities across your portfolio of applications that have the potential to power greater impact and/or performance.
- Control, plan, and track PDP's assets, milestones, deliverables, and communications during the execution of simultaneous packages.
- Anticipate and plan for future demands and challenges around timelines, workflow changes, and software deliverables.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of practical experience in Program Management practices, efficiently validated in prior roles in Product Engineering.
- Deep area expertise and working know-how in establishing and imposing Program Control frameworks and exceptional practices.
- A proven track record for influencing a wide spectrum of technical cross-functional teams and activating them toward a common goal.
- Ability to navigate through stages of ambiguity and translate strategic possibilities into tangible next steps.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment and possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity.
- Well-versed in handling resources (employees and financial) to optimize the outcome of the packages and tasks for which they are accountable.
- Can communicate efficiently and inclusively across cultures, creative, and technical teams.
- Acquainted and fiercely curious about product, via data insights, A/B testing, and consumer experience POV.
- Effective at giving sincere and direct feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a streaming entertainment service or similar industry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and program management tools.
- Strong understanding of product development and innovation management principles.
