Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Government Programs Customer Service Representatives to join our dynamic team at blithequark. Key Responsibilities
- Promptly and professionally respond to member, client, and provider inquiries through multiple channels, including telephone, email, fax, and U.S. mail, utilizing proper communication etiquette, grammar, punctuation, and tone.
- Clearly and accurately communicate eligibility, benefit, claim status, and payment information related to customers' questions, ensuring that all interactions are handled with precision and care.
- Identify the reason(s) for customer contacts and provide appropriate resolutions to inquiries and complaints within specified timeframes and guidelines established by regulatory agencies or client contracts, demonstrating a commitment to timely and effective issue resolution.
- Inform and assist customers with grievance and claims appeals processes as necessary, ensuring that they are fully informed and supported throughout their journey with blithequark.
- Thoroughly document all customer interactions in our customer relationship management system, capturing all relevant details to ensure seamless continuity and follow-up.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and quality standards, meeting or exceeding call center metrics and performance expectations to contribute to the team's overall success.
- Enter and adjust claims as required, demonstrating proficiency in our software applications and systems.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- At least two years of customer service experience in a business environment, preferably in a call center setting, with a proven track record of assisting Medicare and/or Medicaid enrollees.
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and software applications, including Windows, through previous experience and/or coursework.
- Successful completion of our customer service simulation assessment, multitasking and call logging assessment, and email composition assessment, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or dental benefits environment, with a strong understanding of government programs and regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of customer relationship management systems and software applications.
