Rackner, a leading software consultancy, is seeking an experienced Onboarding Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) in their DevSecOps initiatives. About the Role
The Onboarding SME will be responsible for driving the onboarding process for product teams, ensuring seamless integration with the Platform One tech stack, and providing technical expertise to support the program's success. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including excellent customer management experience, solid software implementation skills, and the ability to collaborate well with both internal and customer teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading solutions and successful implementation for the onboarding process, as well as experience working with teams that execute training and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard and support product teams across the DoD as they leverage the Platform One tech stack
- Provide technical expertise to support the program's success
- Collaborate with internal and customer teams to ensure seamless integration with the Platform One tech stack
- Develop and implement onboarding processes and procedures
- Provide training and support to product teams on the use of the Platform One tech stack
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the onboarding process
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the onboarding process to identify areas for improvement
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field
- Excellent customer management experience
- Solid software implementation skills
- Proven ability to collaborate well with both internal and customer teams
- Demonstrated leadership of solutions and successful implementation for the onboarding process
- Experience working with teams that execute training and integrations
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to work well with multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working with the DoD or other government agencies
- Knowledge of the Platform One tech stack, including Kubernetes and containers
- Experience with cloud-native solutions and DevSecOps
- Certifications in relevant areas, such as ITIL or Agile
