Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Part-Time Remote Hybrid Customer Care Coordinator to join our team! As a key member of our customer care team, you'll provide exceptional service to our customers, backup and assist our Customer Service Representatives, and contribute to driving sales growth. Location and Schedule
Mechanicsburg, PA - Remote/Hybrid: required to go into store once a quarter. Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (can vary based on store). Approximately 20 hours/week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with all customer-related matters and backup/assist Customer Service Representatives.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Navigate Axapta to create and release sales orders, and communicate with customers and vendors throughout the sales order process via phone and/or email.
- Quote on contracts and follow up on quotes, and call customers for additional information as needed.
- Ensure that sales orders are routinely reconciled with material on hand or on order to maximize sales and reduce customer wait time.
- Coordinate pick up/delivery of orders and maintain a list of all customers, including email and phone numbers.
- Assist customer service representatives at the checkout counters to reduce customer wait times.
- Follow up with customers by conducting surveys and gathering feedback.
- Register and track customer complaints with expeditious follow-up and resolution.
- Create reports to track the progress of sales orders and their impact on budgeted sales.
- Create, modify, and email various Excel spreadsheets as required by management, purchasing, and replenishment.
- Ensure that customers are aware of our BUYLCI website and assist with customer set up for the site.
- Ensure that customers are aware and understand the DOD Emall program and know how to maneuver through the website in select stores.
- Publish and display daily price changes as instructed.
- Utilize current marketing tools to seek additional sales and contribute to merchandizing and replenishing shelves as necessary.
- Interact with vendor reps during their normal sales calls and ask questions about products to gain a better understanding of their uses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
- High school graduate with one year of relevant work experience.
- Basic retail knowledge and accuracy with computerized checkout systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with and communicating with customers, vendors, company divisions, co-workers, and management.
- A minimum of 8% annual leave, equating to a minimum of one week per quarter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer care or a related field.
- Familiarity with Axapta or similar software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
