Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform order entry tasks with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure the medication dispensing process is efficient and accurate.
• Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and the information or response required.
• Calculate and verify the correct dosage based on prescriptions, ensuring patient safety.
• Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
• Provide dispensing pharmacists with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer system.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Required Qualifications:
