Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a remote capacity. This position offers an immediate start for the right candidate and requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at MinuteClinic, you will be empowered to provide primary and family evidenced-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. You will enjoy autonomy in running your own practice, flexibility with scheduling, and exceptional tools, training, and resources to support your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidenced-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
• Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.
• Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
• Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
• Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness, chronic condition management.

Essential Qualifications

• Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
• Or, in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Master's Degree or equivalent experience together with Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role.
• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, not limited to but including Spanish.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required, if less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $46.03 - $99.14 per hour, and this position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
