Job Overview
The Senior Engineer role is a technical leadership position that supports server-centric production, focusing on improving IT system reliability and performance. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive services for the operation of server databases and day-to-day computer system operations, managing vendor resources, and ensuring technical service plans and service level agreements are met. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining data centers according to predefined standards, managing technical infrastructure, and understanding the interaction between various technology systems, applications, hardware, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and support for server-centric production, ensuring IT system reliability and performance
- Manage day-to-day services, including comprehensive services for server databases and computer system operations
- Oversee vendor resources and work processes to ensure technical service plans and service level agreements are met
- Maintain data centers according to predefined standards, managing technical infrastructure and ensuring compliance
- Provide training and onboarding to salespeople working in the fulfillment center
- Be available for on-call support 24/7 and willing to support other sites as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience
- Strong technical skills and abilities, including network, server, phone, and desktop experience
- Technical knowledge of hardware and software, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage product partners and vendors
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to schedule work and respond to on-call prompts
Preferred Qualifications
