Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced and innovative Telehealth Registered Nurse, CareLine Part Time to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, CareLine, you will provide telephonic triage, directional patient care advice, and health-related guidance to our patients and their families. You will be responsible for connecting with patients via phone or video calls, conducting health assessments, and providing treatment solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic triage and directional patient care advice to patients and their families
- Conduct health assessments and provide treatment solutions via phone or video calls
- Collaborate with primary caregivers and interdisciplinary care plan teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Utilize technology to monitor patients' vital signs, such as oxygen levels, heart rate, and blood glucose
- Identify patients' symptoms and conditions through video chatting and analyze data to determine appropriate health maintenance and outcomes
- Implement protocols to attain expected outcomes and evaluate progress toward anticipated outcomes
- Document interventions in a readable and understandable language
- Aid in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of our telehealth practices and professional nursing practice
- Perform other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion
Essential Qualifications
- AS degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice nursing in Florida required; may be required to acquire additional state licenses
- Nurse Licensure Compact license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required
- Minimum of 3 years' acute clinical nursing work experience required, with 2 years of experience working in an ER or Emergency Triage Nursing position
- Minimum of 2 years' telehealth experience preferred

- Advanced-level business acuity
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of general/core Nursing-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques, and methods
- Broad nursing knowledge and understanding
- Ability and willingness to provide extraordinary customer service and professionalism to all customers
- Maintains current nursing knowledge and competency to stay abreast of budding nursing trends and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills through a variety of formats, tools, and technologies
- Capable of building trust and professional relationships to deliver VIP care across the continuum
- Ability to demonstrate excellent clinical judgment
- Ability to problem-solve
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Ability to provide constructive feedback
- Ability to effectively collaborate with physicians, patients, family members, colleagues, and other team members in a courteous and professional manner
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Competent in other systems required for the position
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, within South Florida, to attend meetings and trainings up to 10% of the time
- Availability to work evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Minimum requirement to work 3 holidays in the calendar year
- Spoken and written fluency in English; bilingual (Spanish/Creole) a plus
