The Financial Opportunity Coach is responsible for providing financial counseling and coaching to help members manage their personal finances effectively, including conducting workshops on budgeting and credit building.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for financial counseling and coaching to engage, teach, and motivate members in regards to their personal finances
- Provide services in a one on one counseling format
- Conduct classes and workshops on topics such as budgeting, credit building and banking products
- Work with Family Success Coaches and Resource Coordinators to ensure that members successfully achieve goals and obtain necessary services
Skills
- Requires associate degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
- Prefer at least one year professional experience working with personal finances, particularly in the areas of budgeting, asset building, and credit building
- Prefer work experience in the financial sector of banking, lending, insurance, investments, etc
- Bachelor's degree preferred
