You will also be involved in subledger reconciliation of point-of-sale transactions, bank account reconciliation for customer payments, and handling payment investigations and refund requests. Responsibilities
? Provide support for retail sales and payment transactions occurring in Verizon's brick & mortar and online stores.

? Daily balancing of payments tendered and communication with store employees to resolve out of balance situations.

? Identification and reporting of issues identified through the balancing process.

? Subledger reconciliation of point-of-sale transactions flowing to Verizon billing systems and bank accounts.

? Bank account reconciliation for payment deposits settling across Verizon for all customer payments.

? Handle payment investigations and refund requests from customers to care centers and stores.

? Conduct payment research for posting payments to both consumer customers and business accounts.

Requirements
? Current enrollment at Florida A&M University in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, Business IT, Statistics, Math or related major with an expected completion date between December 2024 and June 2025.
