We are looking for an experienced Flutter developer to help build a production mobile app that works offline first and syncs reliably to the cloud when internet connectivity is available.
This is not a beginner project. We are specifically looking for someone who has already shipped Flutter apps with offline data storage, background sync, and real-world edge cases.
Project Summary
Flutter mobile app (Android + iOS)
App must function fully offline
Automatic cloud synchronization when connectivity is restored
Includes image processing for analyzing photos of rifle targets (grouping, measurement, scaling)
Required Experience (Please do not apply if you don’t meet these)
Strong professional experience with Flutter / Dart
Prior experience building offline-first mobile apps
Local storage (SQLite, Drift, Hive, etc.)
Sync logic for intermittent connectivity
Conflict handling and retries
REST API integration
Experience working with camera images and image files
Ability to design clean, maintainable app architecture
Preferred / Bonus Skills
Image processing or computer vision experience
Measuring distances or coordinates from images
Scaling and normalization of photos
OpenCV or native image processing experience is a plus
Background tasks and lifecycle handling
Native Android / iOS interop when required
Performance optimization for image-heavy workflows
