Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephone triage and health information services to patients and healthcare professionals, assessing their symptoms and concerns, and offering guidance and support as needed.
- Utilize your nursing expertise and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and provide high-quality care to patients remotely.
- Document patient interactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest medical guidelines, protocols, and best practices.
Essential Qualifications
- Current Multi-State RN License: You must have a valid RN license with no restrictions.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications is essential for this role.
- 2+ Years of Nursing Experience: We are looking for experienced RNs with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Successful Completion of Background Check, Drug Screen, and References: You must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and provide professional references.
- 4-Week Remote Training: You will be required to complete a 4-week remote training program over Zoom video, with 100% attendance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable, although not required.
- Previous Telephone Triage Experience: Prior experience in telephone triage or a related field is an asset, but not necessary.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
