- Initiating and completing the selection process for customers' online orders, ensuring that all items are accurately picked and packed.
- Assembling customers' online orders, processing coupons and payment, and delivering and loading orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick-up.
- Providing a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment, ensuring that all areas are well-organized and meet the company's high standards of quality and safety.
- Reporting pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the store e-Commerce supervisor, and taking corrective action as needed.
- Inspecting equipment and notifying the store Pick-Up supervisor or other store management of items in need of repair, to ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
- Performing required opening and closing procedures, and assisting in training new e-Commerce team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Ability to work without supervision, taking initiative and making decisions as needed to ensure that customers' orders are fulfilled efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to read shelf tags and perform basic math skills, such as counting, addition, and subtraction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and stand for long periods of time, as needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Basic knowledge of grocery products, including produce, meat, dairy, and dry goods.
