Signature Touch Property Management is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team. This part-time position with the possibility of a full-time position is an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic environment, while working closely with management to deliver financial services to a diverse client portfolio. Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for assigned properties, including journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Review and process vendor invoices with accurate coding, required approvals, and proper documentation.
• Reconcile operating and reserve bank accounts on a monthly basis.
• Review monthly financial reporting packages to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee accounts receivable, including collections, cash applications, and homeowner communications.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies through analysis and corrective adjustments.
• Prepare and distribute assessment invoices for operating and reserves accounts as required.
• Experienced in managing the collections process, including direct communication with clients regarding past-due accounts, providing clear account explanations, and preparing and presenting delinquency updates to board members.
• Assist with annual 1099 filings and maintain accurate Certificates of Insurance (COI) and W-9 documentation.
• Support weekly accounting operations, including wire transfers, check runs, and deposits.
• Collaborate with the accounting team and management to streamline processes and enhance department efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, charts) and strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Outlook.
• Proficient in online financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient reporting, and adept at navigating other work-related online platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate ability to reallocate focus and resources across accounting projects in response to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with clients.
• Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience; experience in real estate, property management, or association accounting preferred.

• Expected Hours: 12-25 Hours
• Valid Driver’s License
• This position does NOT qualify for remote work at this time.
• Office Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm
• Holiday's Off: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & After, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
