We are hiring a part-time accountant or bookkeeper for 20–30 hours per week.
This role is for someone who is highly detail-oriented, very strong in English, intelligent, organized, and comfortable handling messy accounting workflows. Bonus if you. know Spanish.
Our business is in the buy here pay here / in-house auto financing space. This is not basic bookkeeping. There are many moving parts, including:
• vehicle purchases
• customer down payments
• monthly payments
• deferred down payments
• receipts
• invoices
• deposits
• bank activity
• customer and vehicle-level transaction tracking
A lot of information currently comes through multiple chats, receipts, invoices, and payment records. You will need to go through information carefully, organize it properly, and make sure nothing important gets missed.
What you will do:
• Review and organize financial records
• Enter transactions accurately into our accounting system
• Reconcile payments, receipts, deposits, and invoices
• Track activity tied to specific cars and customers
• Identify missing items, inconsistencies, and errors
• Help clean up and improve our accounting workflow
You should be:
• Excellent in English
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Smart and able to think critically
• Comfortable working through messy records
• Reliable and consistent
• Experienced in bookkeeping or accounting
• Spanish is a huge plus
