The Role: Part Time Facilitator - English

As a Part Time Facilitator - English, you'll report to the School Director and/or their designee. You'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an engaging instructional program that caters to the diverse needs of our learners. This is a unique opportunity to create and tailor curriculum to the needs of our learners, making a real impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incorporate Project-Based Learning into the curriculum to enrich the learning experience.
• Develop and implement rigorous, differentiated, and inquiry-based lessons and instructional materials.
• Create a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters trust, respect, and engagement.
• Evaluate learners' academic and social growth, maintaining accurate records and preparing progress reports.
• Collaborate with learners, families, and colleagues to identify and address learners' needs.
• Communicate effectively with fellow department members, school leaders, and parents to ensure seamless coordination.
• Represent iLEAD California in a positive and professional manner in all interactions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices and industry trends.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with all necessary courses to meet credential requirements.
• Single Subject Teaching Credential - English.
• ELL Authorization - CLAD, BCLAD certification.
• Experience in an educational setting or real-world experience in non-traditional, flexible, and collaborative environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Project-Based Learning and individualized instruction.
• Knowledge of curriculum design and development.
• Familiarity with social-emotional learning principles and practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
