BlueScope is a leading manufacturer of building solutions with over 100 years of experience. They are seeking a Purchasing Project Assistant to provide project management and departmental support, ensuring timely communication and collaboration within the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Compass data entry. Process buyout Purchase Orders, EZparts, components website orders, manage backlog, generate customer PO’s and other divisional or departmental specific documents
- Assist with reporting: BI, Compass, expense, Project Review, and Claims/SR’s
- Process invoicing, receiving, and match holds
- Organize department meetings, events, and meals, make travel arrangements and conference registrations, etc
- Provide administrative assistance by ordering department supplies, updating phone list, Org chart, SharePoint, and document center
- Issue warranties
- Purchase orders to suppliers, invoice approvals, preparing accurate backlog and making system adjustments for project reviews, organizing food/drink for department meetings/events
- Processing credits & SRs within allotted timeframes
- Maintaining budget for office related expenses & purchases
Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree, 2-year technical degree, or office management certificate
