The Account Manager will oversee and expand a portfolio of clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction through effective communication and relationship management while leveraging digital marketing strategies such as SEO, SMM, and PPC advertising.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and manage their accounts, handling any updates, changes, or inquiries that may arise
• Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for improvement or growth
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and to better understand their needs and goals
• Communicate regularly with clients through phone calls, emails, and meetings, providing updates and addressing any concerns
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, design, and content creation, to ensure client projects are executed efficiently and effectively
• Regularly analyze and report on client's digital marketing performance, including metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates
• Provide recommendations for optimization and improvement based on these insights
• Work to retain clients by ensuring their satisfaction with the company's services and addressing any potential issues before they escalate
• Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products that could benefit clients' business goals
• Effectively present company services to clients and prospects using tools such as PowerPoint or Google Slides, while maintaining a professional presence on camera
• Be open to participating in special projects or cross-functional initiatives that support team goals, operational improvements, or strategic company objectives
Skills
• Digital Marketing and a strong understanding of SEO, SMM and Paid Ads/PPC is required
• 2+ years minimum of Account Management experience, in an SEO or Marketing Agency setting
• 2+ years of experience in a sales-based position within a metrics driven organization
• Ability to actively collaborate with clients to understand their marketing goals and objectives, and then developing effective digital marketing strategies to achieve those goals
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented in a production intensive environment, with the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to address and resolve any client issues or complaints, coordinating with internal teams as needed to provide timely and effective solutions
• Expressing ideas, instructions, and feedback effectively and clearly through spoken word
• Writing clear and concise emails, reports, proposals, and other forms of written communication
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Prolonged periods attending or presenting on video calls with camera on
• Google Analytics/AdWords Certification is a big plus
• A College Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or other related field is a big plus
• Knowledge of local search ranking factors and/or writing content on the internet is recommended
