As an Appeals Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming post service appeals and ensuring all necessary documentation is received as per state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews on all documentation submitted
- Associate documents to carrier claim and ensure all required documents have been received
- Attach additional documentation from multiple systems when necessary
- Request documentation from other sources both internal and external partners
- Utilizing proprietary databases to assign appeals to subject matter experts
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- High School Diploma required with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and utilizing multiple databases
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Good communication skills, able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing
- Good organizational skills
