Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive technology solutions that align with business objectives
- Assess current architecture and develop strategic roadmaps to support operational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions
- Provide leadership and expertise in design and execution, ensuring that solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture documents and technology plans
Technical Requirements:
- Professional experience in leading and building globally distributed technology teams and tech stacks
- Strong technology affinity and experience, with attention to detail and ability to design and execute against strategic goals
- Broad and deep knowledge of software development life cycles, continuous integration and delivery, process engineering, and IT/software technology and trends
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of software architecture, data architecture, and security architecture
Leadership and Soft Skills:
- Ability to define and communicate strategy and vision, influencing across state agencies and executing at scale in a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to build strong, trusted, and candid relationships, promoting collaboration at the leadership level
- Ability to inspire and influence teams and partners in delivering technology-enabled solutions that meet agency operational needs
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in a related field preferred
