You will be responsible for creating and testing software, driving continuous improvement in code structure and quality, and applying innovative methods to quick-track concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test software applications using Hadoop, Big Data, Data Science/ML, Python, SQL, and UNIX
- Drive continuous improvement in code structure and quality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of experience working with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and related technologies
- Strong data warehousing concepts and experience with financial reporting environments
- Expertise in distributed systems and experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with UNIX shell scripting and ability to design and develop optimized data pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP/AWS and building microservices and scalable solutions
- 2+ years of experience with designing and building solutions using Kafka streams or queues
- Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket and using CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Couchbase, or MongoDB
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Strong communication and project management skills
