Job Description:
Join the Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology team as an Associate Quality Control Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our media content. As a key member of our Media Experience team, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellence of our video assets, from incoming materials to finished products.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control checks on video assets for video and audio fidelity
- Identify and report video and audio issues, ensuring prompt resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards and improve processes
- Utilize macOS and Windows operating systems to perform quality control tasks
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 28 hours of work per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Exemplary attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, team player with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to new situations
- Basic computer and technical background, with experience working in new media and online organizations
- Familiarity with streaming and broadcast media, Google apps, and video codecs (H.264)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in video quality control or a related field
- Fluency in languages other than English
- Background in encoding video for the web and understanding of various video codecs
