The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, optimizing APIs, and collaborating in Agile development cycles.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring / Spring Boot
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) to design schemas and optimize queries
• Integrate third-party services and internal APIs
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development cycles
Skills
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+)
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA)
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Familiarity with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles
• Experience working in Agile environments
