Remote Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician III - 3rd Shift

Join Our Team as a Remote NOC Technician III and Take Your Career to the Next Level! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NOC Technician to provide advanced technical support and maintain network products and services from the comfort of your own home. As a Remote NOC Technician III, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading organization and contribute to the success of our network operations team.

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a competitive salary of $68,000 per year. You will work independently under minimal supervision, handling a variety of moderately difficult assignments that require innovation and judgment. Your schedule will be Monday to Thursday, 10:30 PM to 8:30 AM CT, with flexibility to support after-hours maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot network issues and perform diagnostics to ensure network health
• Create maintenance requests and coordinate with the NCC and TAC to resolve issues
• Provide technical guidance to staff and vendors
• Run network scripts and manage vendor relationships
• Configure and modify DWDM/SONET services (DS3 to 100GIG)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a NOC Technician
• Experience with OTDR testing and Ciena 6500, Infinera, Alcatel PSS-32/16
• Strong communication skills to communicate with technicians and vendors
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with SONET/DWDM configurations
