Job Responsibilities:
Leading recruitment efforts to attract qualified candidates for nursing positions within specified timeframes
Developing and executing a local strategy in partnership with nursing leadership to meet workforce goals
Maintaining the Applicant Tracking System and managing job postings
Conducting outreach to nursing schools through class visits, career fairs, and community events
Collaborating with hiring managers to ensure fair hiring practices and alignment with workforce planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience
- Experience in campus recruitment, particularly for nursing, is highly preferred
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in human resources or an acute healthcare environment
- Previous healthcare recruiting experience
- Strong internet recruiting skills and ability to source candidates creatively
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and hiring leaders
- Excellent phone interviewing skills to evaluate candidates for cultural fit
