Position Overview – Remote Senior Program Manager (MCP)
Le'fant, on behalf of a high‑impact federal client, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a critical initiative aimed at modernizing the VA’s disability compensation claims process. This program utilizes advanced data analytics, human‑centered design, and strategic process re‑engineering to identify and implement improvements that will reduce cycle times, increase accuracy, and enhance the overall claimant experience.
As the Program Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of a portfolio of interconnected projects, guiding cross‑functional teams through the full lifecycle—from discovery and requirements gathering to solution design, implementation, and post‑deployment evaluation. Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field or a minimum of 10 years of progressive, relevant experience in lieu of a graduate degree.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in program and project management within complex, multi‑stakeholder environments, preferably in federal government or large‑scale public sector settings.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise‑wide change initiatives and strategic communication programs for government agencies, especially the Department of Veterans Affairs.
