Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a creative and results-driven Remote Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that elevate brand awareness, foster engagement, and drive traffic to our platforms. This is a fully remote, evening-based role, perfect for a self-motivated individual with a passion for digital marketing and community building. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our online voice and ensuring our messaging resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
• * Develop and implement engaging and innovative social media strategies across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
• * Create, curate, and manage daily content (images, video, written) that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
• * Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
• * Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies based on performance data and audience insights.
• * Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, and sales, to ensure brand consistency and support business goals.
• * Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
• * Stay up to date with trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
• * Prepare monthly performance reports, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• * Strong knowledge of all major social media platforms and best practices.
• * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• * Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• * Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
• * Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• * A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
• Experience
• * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing social media accounts in a professional setting.
• * Experience in running paid social media campaigns and analyzing ROI.
• * Background in working with B2B or consultancy firms is a plus.
• Working Hours
• * Part-time (Evening Shift):
Monday to Friday
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time)
Flexibility may be required for occasional weekend or project-specific tasks.
