Responsibilities
- Review meeting materials disclosed by publicly listed companies (e.g. annual report, notice of meeting)
- Analyze information with regards to corporate governance and compensation practices
- Summarize meeting proposals and provide voting recommendations based on best practice
Skills
- A degree in the following fields of studies: Business, Economics, Finance, Law, Finance journalism, Corporate Governance, Language translation, Public policy
- Excellent English reading and writing skills
- Reading proficiency in the following language: Arabic
- Task and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst paying attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; personable
- Excellent written English plus reading competency in one of the languages listed above
- IT skills: proficiency in MS Office, Excel and online research tools
- Understanding of economics, financial services, accounting, compliance, corporate law, governance, finance journalism and public policy is considered an advantage
- Experience in qualitative research or corporate governance is considered an advantage
