About the Position:
The Senior Data Analyst role at Target is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our supply chain strategy and performance through expert data analysis and collaboration. Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to supply chain problem-solving with a focus on expense and efficiency, driving business growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to drive data-driven decisions and influence change, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights in supply chain performance, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop less experienced analysts on the team, sharing your expertise and helping to build a high-performing team.
- Develop impactful visualizations and insights, communicating complex data concepts to business partners in a clear and compelling manner.
- Build expertise in data capabilities, integrating with business partners and other data teams to accelerate the product development lifecycle and drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, data analytics, or a related field.
- Experience gathering and analyzing datasets with various coding languages (Python, SQL, R), with an interest in further developing these skills.
- Experience with Target's database and reporting platforms, such as Greenfield or BigRed, or similar technologies.
- Ability to work under ambiguous direction, self-directing, self-motivating, and figuring out the optimal path forward in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
- Certifications in data analytics or related fields.
