Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex data analyses, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making
- Answer key business questions and provide insightful analysis on various trade streams on D+ and Hulu to improve customer experience and increase conversions
- Advance the analytical capabilities of the business by collaborating in the design of diagnostic solutions and delivering exceptional data insights and products
- Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data
- Apply descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, regression, factor analysis, etc.) to understand partner behaviors/values and drive business impact
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or economics)
- 3+ years of professional experience as an analyst in a data and analytics space with strong SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, advanced analytics, and working with data at scale
- Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools like Matplotlib, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
- Experience delivering end-to-end analytics projects: taking them from unclear requirements to a successful narrative, accessible across multiple audiences, and ultimately to a tangible business outcome
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners, and present to senior management
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- A Master's degree in a quantitative field
- Knowledge of marketing landing pages, join pipe, and trade spaces
- Ability to identify and appropriately escalate issues to leadership
- Consulting background, MBA, or other cross-industry experience
- Strong motivation and ability to work independently
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- A sense of humor and unique interests or areas of expertise that influence the way you interact with others and approach your work
