About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer at Delta Airlines, you will be working remotely as part of the Workwarp team, enjoying a competitive salary of $26 per hour. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a deep understanding of AWS native event-driven services, data engineering best practices, and proficiency in Python, NoSQL, and Kinesis. Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Optimize data pipelines for execution and cost, leveraging AWS services and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS advancements, applying knowledge to improve data engineering practices.
- Develop and implement personalization algorithms using Python and Pydantic models, enhancing customer experiences.
- Build and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases, ensuring data is properly structured and accessible.
- Utilize Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data, driving insights and decision-making.

- Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data security, ensuring data is properly managed and protected.
- Proficiency in Python and serverless technologies, with a strong ability to develop scalable and efficient solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- The capacity to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with stakeholders to drive project success.
- Experience with personalization, Python, Pydantic models, DynamoDB, and NoSQL, as well as Amazon Kinesis, is highly desirable.
