The Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to join our growing fast-paced engineering team. You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. You’ll work closely with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to streamline CI/CD processes, improve system reliability, and lead infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Monitor and troubleshoot system reliability, performance, and security
- Set up and manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning
- Implement security best practices across environments
- Mentor junior team members and lead DevOps initiatives
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimise workflows and deployment cycles
- Work closely with the support team to help on any technical issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role
- Strong experience with cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, CDN, firewalls, load balancers
- Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments
Nice to Have
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, etc.
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Exposure to GitOps principles and tools like Flux or ArgoCD
- Experience in fast-paced startup or product environments
