Job Overview: Senior Analyst, E-Commerce Analytics
As a Senior Analyst in E-Commerce Analytics, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding our website and mobile applications' strategic initiatives through comprehensive reporting and analysis. Your expertise will help optimize our digital systems, drive business decisions, and foster growth across eCommerce, Acquisition, and Retention. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across departments, including Product, Revenue Analytics, Marketing, Ancillaries, and IT, to deliver timely, accurate insights and ensure that our tools, processes, and reporting are optimized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and prioritize initiatives within the Product Organization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and management reports that provide transparency into our digital performance.
- Leverage various reporting tools and syndicated intelligence to identify trends, competitive happenings, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct error analysis of digital products and propose corrective actions.
- Perform ad-hoc projects, reviews, and analyses as required by senior management.
- Present findings and insights to leadership through executive summaries and presentations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data acquisition, processing, cleaning, and auditing.
- Collaborate with the Product team and IT to ensure business needs are met through well-maintained data architecture and smooth data flows.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce and Digital Analytics, with a proven track record of delivering value through data-driven decisions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving and leadership skills, with a willingness to take initiative and champion cross-functional opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Analytics Certification.
- Previous experience in the travel industry.
- Knowledge of coding and design best practices.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, GA4 preferred.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager.
- Familiarity with other reporting and error analysis tools such as Content Square, Dynatrace, and Noibu.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with experience developing guidelines in these areas for others.
- Strong personal responsibility and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-level environment and promote a teamwork mentality.
