Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and analyze the annual financial plan, ongoing financial forecasts, and a five-year strategic plan for the e-commerce IT capability.
- Create tools and reports that provide actionable insights to the business, enhancing financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive key strategic decisions in the e-commerce IT space.
- Support the development of financial strategies, plans, and processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness within the e-commerce IT function.
- Work closely with the e-commerce IT team to consolidate plans and forecasts, analyze actual financial performance, and identify trends.
- Play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of agile operating models and optimizing contractor and internal resource mix.
- Execute tools, processes, and reporting that enhance accuracy and identify opportunities for growth and cost regulation.
- Lead the capital planning process, collaborating with the PMO and Finance teams to optimize financial resource allocation for digital and e-commerce initiatives.
- Partner with e-commerce and finance stakeholders to integrate digital, e-commerce, and IT financial plans into the overall financial framework.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed, focusing on digital, e-commerce, and IT finance-related topics.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Financial Analyst(s) within the FP&A team, ensuring their work aligns with e-commerce, digital, and IT finance needs.
The Essentials for Success
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of professional finance experience in a retail or consumer goods organization.
- Experience in a financial support role within a retail category management environment.
- A degree in finance, business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret findings, communicate effectively, and make recommendations.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and Access skills.
- The ability to influence leaders through financial analysis and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to build teams, processes, and models that deliver desired outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agile operating models and technology enablement and related financials.
- Previous FP&A experience.
- Knowledge of financial processes and internal controls.
