About the Product You’ll be working on a Shopify-first eCommerce platform focused on merchandise and digital products, designed for scale, performance, and global reach. This is a complex, high-load environment where engineering quality, performance, and scalability are critical. Team & Structure • Shopify-first eCommerce agency • Cross-functional pods of 6–7 people (engineering, design, product) • ~30–40 people total • Agile, ownership-driven culture The Role We’re looking for a deeply hands-on Shopify Full-Stack Developer with strong experience across the Shopify ecosystem. You’ll work across themes, apps, Shopify Functions, extensions, and headless implementations, building robust and scalable eCommerce solutions in a high-traffic environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working across both frontend and backend layers of Shopify. What You’ll Do • Build and maintain high-performance Shopify storefronts • Develop scalable Shopify themes and reusable components • Work across the Shopify ecosystem (themes, apps, extensions, Functions, Pixels) • Contribute to headless or hybrid Shopify architectures • Build clean, maintainable frontend and backend solutions • Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams • Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of systems • Support CI/CD and modern development workflows What We’re Looking For • 8+ years of development experience (10+ preferred) • 3–5+ years working with Shopify • Strong hands-on experience across: • Shopify theme development • apps / extensions • Shopify Functions • Pixels • headless Shopify • Strong knowledge of: • Liquid • HTML / CSS / Tailwind • JavaScript / TypeScript • React • Next.js or Remix • Node.js (or similar backend) • Git / GitHub Nice to Have • Shopify Checkout Extensibility • Headless commerce architecture • Shopify Pixels / advanced tracking • CI/CD (GitHub Actions) • Playwright or unit testing • Experience with high-traffic eCommerce platforms Why This Role • Build products backed by a top-3 global music label • Work on high-traffic Shopify platforms used worldwide • Join a Shopify-first eCommerce agency with strong technical culture • Work in small, autonomous teams with real ownership • Impact products used by millions of users in real time Benefits • Full-time employment (official employment contract) • Health insurance • Fully remote within the U.S. • International, highly experienced team
