Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Specialist, Procurement to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a critical role in driving business excellence through innovative procurement solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing and performing procurement activities, creating and enforcing company policies and procedures, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve our business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong personal initiative, integrity, accountability, communication skills, and commitment to teamwork, setting work objectives and maintaining KPIs relevant to procurement directives.
- Assist in implementing policy and procedure around procurement and P2P processes, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Indirect Tactical Procurement Specialist, Liberty HQ, and Facility end-users on local contracts, one-time purchases, and other procurement-related activities.
- Work closely with Business Services North America (BSNA P2P) and Liberty Finance on control reports, including Open Purchase Orders, Open Liabilities, and Daily P2P reports.
- Collaborate with Vendor Master Data and AP to remove invoice blocks/supplier hurdles, reviewing and addressing workflows in ReadSoft/IMS that require Liberty P2P assistance.
- Participate in group training for procurement processes, including Ariba and new initiatives, through off-site meetings at Liberty Facilities and/or through Teams.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Ariba Network, supporting catalogs, business end-users, Vendor Master Data, and training as required.
- Run and analyze reports to support the Procurement Department's goals and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Travel up to 30% of the time to attend meetings, training sessions, and other business-related activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in procurement and AP procedures, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- 2+ years of experience in negotiations and strategy implementation, with a proven track record of achieving results.
- SAP proficiency, including Ariba, with experience in data analysis and office suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification in procurement, such as CPSM or CPM, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
- Experience working in a large corporate cloud environment, with knowledge of procurement systems and technologies.

- Ability to speak multiple languages, with a strong understanding of cultural diversity and international business practices.
