Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned HRIS Workday Consultant with a proven track record of delivering Workday solutions across all stages of the delivery lifecycle. As a Senior Workday Lead, you will be responsible for partnering with our People Team, IT, and internal stakeholders to analyze current practices, lead the implementation of new functionality, and enhance processes using new and existing technology. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ongoing design and implementation of new functionality in Workday, including creative enhancements and end-to-end automation initiatives
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement and innovative mindset to identify, recommend, and improve current systems and processes
- Implement upgrades and enhancements, lead testing and data validation, and ensure overall system performance is aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate closely with COE Leads, functional leads, managers, and technical teams to gather requirements, recommend, design, and implement solutions, and ensure user ease of adoption
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of Workday configurations, processes, and procedures
- Provide expert-level support and guidance to internal stakeholders on Workday-related matters
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday releases, features, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our organization
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years of strong hands-on experience delivering Workday solutions through all stages of the delivery lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent military experience
- Former Workday implementer certified or Pro certified in Core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, or Advanced Reporting
- Expert-level proficiency in Workday HCM, Compensation (Advanced), Absence Management, Talent and Performance, and Reporting
- Expertise in Global Workday experience
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional and regional teams to understand and address functional and data-related requirements
- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to influence adoption of the optimal approach at all levels and drive seamless delivery of projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build great relationships and convey and debate design rationale
- Solid knowledge of HR systems structure, functions, and processes, with a sound understanding of interdependencies between various systems and downstream impacts
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Workday Pro certification
- Experience working in a global, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of HR systems integration, data migration, and data analytics
- Experience with other HRIS systems, such as Workforce Management, Time and Attendance, or Benefits Administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions
