Staff Accountant-FlexStaff (TEMP)

FlexStaff is looking for a seasonal Staff Accountant for our client. Location: FULLY REMOTE Hours: 9am to 5:30pm. Pay: $25/hour Job Projected End Date - 9/30/25 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform day to day month end close activities, including manual journal entries, account reconciliations, & roll-forwards/other analyses • Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries including the timely processing of accruals, amortization, prepaids, etc. using the JD Edwards accounting package. • Perform analyses, record periodic, recurring journal entries based on business rules • Preparation of intercompany account billings as well as analyses of the accounts to verify proper posting activity. • Acts as a liaison with financial business managers and subsidiary financial teams to collect, verity, and provide financial data. • Assisting with documenting accounting control procedures and various responsibilities. • Assisting with Sarbanes Oxley testing. • May work on special projects as requested. • Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
